How do I create a new e-mail account with the Outlook Express e-mail client?

Step 1: Start your Outlook Express e-mail client.
Click on the Outlook Express icon on your desktop.

Step 2: Open accounts list.

1. Open the Tools menu.
2. Click on the Accounts... within the Tools menu to open the Accounts list.

Step 3: Add new account.
If you have clicked on the Accounts... within the Tools menu the following form will appear:

Click on the Add button in the upper right corner of the form.

Step 4: Mail account.
If you have clicked on the Add button the following menu will appear:

Click on the Mail... to start with the new email account setup.

Step 5: Your name.
If you have clicked on the Mail... the following form will appear:

1. In the Display name edit box enter your name.
2. Click on the Next button.

Step 6: E-mail address.
If you have clicked on the Next button the following form will appear:

1. Check I already have and e-mail address that I'd like to use radio button.
2. In the E-mail address edit box enter your e-mail address.
3. Click on the Next button.

Step 7: E-mail server names.
If you have clicked on the Next button the following form will appear:

1. In the Incoming mail server drop down list choose POP3.
2. In the Incoming mail server edit box enter the name of your incoming mail server.
3. In the Outgoing mail server edit box enter the name of your outgoing mail server.
4. Click on the Next button.

Step 8: Mail logon.
If you have clicked on the Next button the following form will appear:

1. In the Account name edit box enter your e-mail address.
2. In the Password edit box enter a password for your account.
3. Click on the Next button.

Step 9: Saving account settings.
If you have clicked on the Next button the following form will appear:

Click on the Finish button.

Step 10: Account list.
If you have clicked on the Finish button the following form will appear:

In the list above you can see your new e-mail account.
